Schedule!!!

OK. The schedule for the remainder of the year is posted! Finally. Now we have no excuse for loosing it. It is kind of funny that not one person at the meeting this month still had her copy. I think we all have lost it! Thanks to Vicki for keeping hers.

The meeting at Jeans house was great fun! Gayle's quilt turned out so wonderful. I am so happy that you were all able to contribute to it. I'll post a picture of it here soon.

The Therapy Star Quilt turned out great. I hope that everyone had a chance to see the completed quilt at the Quilt Show. Gayle is going to make a few calls about where it can be donated and we will plan on getting our picture taken with it (and the tank!).

We have several suggestions for the next Quilt Therapy project. Several people suggested a Row by Row quilt, where everyone completes a row of blocks in a round robin style quilt. Another suggestion was a Round Robin, where everyone starts with a block of their own before passing it along. In each of those ideas we would probably pass it all the way around the group so that all 9 of us work on every single quilt. Bring your ideas for projects to the next meeting, where will choose the project and set the rules (yeah right).

1 Year Anniversary!!

The July meeting is the 1 year Anniversary of Quilt Therapy. Last July we met at Gayle's house for an organizational meeting and then we traded fat quarters at my house in August. Does it seem that long ago to you? I am looking forward to the next year! Has everyone been on the lookout for Apron patterns? I think that was what we decided on for Christmas exchange. Only 6 months until Christmas you know!

Don't forget fat quarters for birthday girls at the July meeting. Gayle and Vicki were missed (mostly, Gayle got some cute fabric from someone! I almost had it smuggled from her house. She caught me.) And Liz had the June birthday that we didn't all get to. Gayle will bring the Stars Quilt, so that everyone can see the finished product. It looks really nice.

See you in a week!! I can't wait! It seems like so long ago that we were all together. Hope you can all make it there. Mom and I plan to be there and Teresa said that she has the evening off work and will be able to come as well! Yahoo!!
