Hospice Quilt

This post is late.  I apologise. 

Dear QT's

Just dropped off our Hospice quilt at their Hayden offices.  They were thrilled to receive it!  I talked to Mary Lennox, director of counselors.  (As it turned out we knew each other from when she was the counselor who cared for Ralph's mother at the end of her days).

She said that they have a place already picked out to hang it!!  Thanks to everyone who participated in this worthwhile project.

Quilt Show!

The QT show was fantastic!  Many thanks to Linda and her family for putting it all together!  It was a beautiful setting and a wonderful evening. 

Quilt Camp

Quilt camp was great!  Next year we ALL need to go.  We will have those people in awe!  Linda, Deb, Jean, and I went from our group this year.    We got to stay up all night sewing (well, not ALL night.  Someone tripped the breaker and our machines no longer had power at around 11:00 so we turned in.  But we COULD have sewed all night!!).   The camp fed us 4 great meals and gave out little prizes to everyone who showed up.    The four of us had a cabin all to ourselves and as far as I know everyone slept well and my snoring didn't bother anyone.  :)

I wish I had taken more pictures.  I tried to snap a few with my phone, but they didn't turn out great.  Next year I'll be better.

First Meeting of 2011

The first meeting of 2011 was a lot of fun.  Thanks Linda! 

The first 2 poster projects were cut and divided up.  I think the pieces are small and interesting and will be fun to put together.  (Even the chicken head!)
